There's an easier and healthier way of
determining how much you should eat.
The Fat Math Formula
The Fat Math Formula yields weight management results that are attainable, predictable, and sustainable. The magic of the Fat Math Formula is that you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want, without counting calories and without exercising. Whether you need to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds, the formula works consistently for any body type or fitness level.
While the formula was created to help elite athletes shed unnecessary weight in order to be more competitive in their chosen sport, we realized that the same formula would work for anyone that had a strong desire to lose weight. With obesity and weight management issues increasing year after year, and desperation by many on how to reverse that trend, we decided to make this formula available to the public.
The Fat Math Formula is invaluable to those that need to lose a significant amount of weight but are currently too heavy to safely exercise enough to make a meaningful impact on their health. Once the physical burden of the excess weight is gone, you can begin to incorporate exercise into your schedule if you wish. You’ll then have a level of mobility and stamina necessary to make a difference, but without the fear of injury from exercising while too heavy.
So, if you are currently 10 to 100 pounds overweight, we can help. The results that we typically strive for range from 15 to 20 pounds per month. The formula is so precise that you can choose a desired weight and the date that you would like to attain it. We can then build a daily plan specifically for that goal. So, if you want to lose 20 pounds by your upcoming class reunion, you can do that. You’ll know exactly what you need to do daily to reach your goal. If the formula is followed, you will succeed. Once you do reach your goal, we’ll give you the guidelines necessary to keep the weight off.
A Paradigm Shift in Weight Loss
Regardless of your age, metabolism, body shape, current weight, or physical condition, you lose weight every minute of every day. Your body has an internal furnace that is constantly burning calories. When you sleep, you're not adding wood to this fire, you’re burning what was previously stored. What you burn while least active (while sleeping) is the cornerstone of the Fat Math Formula. We discovered that the amount that you lose while sleeping is typically very consistent. So, we worked backwards from this number and were able to develop the Fat Math Formula.
Once we determine the average amount of weight that you lose while sleeping, we can then back into how much you need to eat during the day in order to lose a certain amount by the next day. The amount that you can eat is based on the actual weight of your meals and not on caloric value.
Sleep It Off
Knowing how much weight you naturally lose while sleeping will indicate how much you need to weigh before bed in order to wake up weighing less than the previous day. Weighing yourself before your last meal of the day will let you know precisely how many ounces of food you can have for dinner in order to weigh a predetermined amount when you wake up in the morning.
Most people average a weight loss of at least 1.2 pounds while sleeping 8 hours. So, if you want to lose .5 pounds per day (15 pounds per month) you just need to ensure that you go to bed weighing no more than .7 pounds more than you did when you woke up. That way, when you lose 1.2 pounds at night, you'll wake up .5 pounds less than the previous day. It’s that simple.
